Owner and Head Chef Duncan and his wife Ali began a long-cherished dream in 2008 when they moved from Scotland to Goanna Café and Gallery in its beautiful native bush setting in South-West WA. Their dream was to create fresh and delicious dishes in a kitchen of their own, close to world class vineyards and golden sandy beaches.

Over the twelve years since 2008 they have taken Goanna through several changes and expansions, including the successful launch of GG Catering in 2012, and more recently the development of Goanna Goods, offering pre-prepared packaged foods and treats through the retail arm of Goanna Café.

Goanna Goods will build on Duncan’s passion for simple, fresh and unpretentious food, expressed through his creative seasonal menu. He will continue to work closely alongside a long list of local producers and suppliers to ensure that every menu item showcases the freshest, best quality and locally sourced ingredients.
